What is SWAT Personal Training?
Don’t let the name scare you. SWAT (Strength Wellness Athletic Training, LLC) is a personal training and fitness company based in Tucson, Arizona. Ron Holland, Master Certified Personal Trainer and owner of SWAT Fitness , opened his first private fitness training studio in northwest Tucson in 1993, after retiring from a long and successful career as a military SWAT Commander in the US Air Force, and working in the civilian world as a Police Sergeant and Law Enforcement Fitness Instructor. With his experience in developing boot camp fitness programs and fitness training for law enforcement, fire, and other public safety personnel, SWAT seemed the perfect name for his company, which now has 2 Tucson locations, and offers online personal training, and even boot camp fitness vacations for those outside the Tucson metro area.
Jana Holland, Life Coach and Tucson Personal Trainer, is able to provide SWAT’s fitness clients with expertise in nutrition coaching, weight loss, and goal-setting.
Do you yell at people?
No. No. No. We will check in with you, we will ask you to try some new things. We will challenge you physically, and ask that you push yourself, but we won’t yell. It’s not as scary as it sounds. Ron and his team of trainers are easy-going, truly care about their clients’ fitness, health, and goals, and push only when necessary to keep you challenged and motivated.
A seasoned marathon runner (13 marathons worldwide) and longtime fitness instructor, Ron has loved fitness his whole life, and has dedicated his career (and his company) to helping others learn the mental and physical health benefits of fitness, health, and proper nutrition.
